CRIAQ is a non-profit consortium that was created in 2002 with the financial support of the Quebec government. Its objective is to develop and stimulate collaboration between industry specialists and researchers towards precompetitive research projects in aerospace.

CRIAQ allows:

  • Companies to benefit from the expertise of researchers and from funding to increase their R&D budget.
  • Researchers to access funding from various sources to contribute to the industry’s technological advancement.

As Quebec’s first innovation network in aerospace, CRIAQ aims to increase the competitivity of the aerospace industry and to improve the collective knowledge base in this sector through better training of students.

Since 2015, CRIAQ ensures representation of the Consortium for Aerospace Research Innovation in Canada (CARIC) in the Quebec market.
